Does it replace SAP?
No. SAP stays the record of stock. The system reads it and makes every channel follow it, instead of each channel keeping its own copy.
We don't use SAP. Does it still work?
The demo uses SAP S/4HANA's standard sales-order and stock interfaces. Other ERPs, such as Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics and Odoo, connect through the interfaces they offer; which ones yours has is checked at the start of a project. If you have no ERP, or one that can't do this, we can build one.
What happens while SAP is down?
As in the demo, orders are received and wait in line. When SAP is back they are sent in the order they arrived, each one once, even if the network retried it.
Is this a real company?
No. Dahn Trading and its figures are an example. SAP is simulated, with SAP's real interface names and document number ranges.
